T: Hi Boys
Sean: Come on Tim - we know you're watching...
Sean: Sure - bring it round.
colin: just looked at great grey shrike video ,sean can you upload it?
Sean: Look forward to seeing you Terry. Bring a Nutcracker with you.
Terry: Hello chaps, I will be back on Tuesday 7th Oct until Friday 10th Oct (when I go to Scilly) so looking forward to catching up with a few of you when I am back... find a rare for me! |
Terry: Congratulations on the Icterine Warbler - can't remember one in Winterton before.. Hoping to be back in late Sep but will definitely be there 9/10 Oct
Sean: Lots of Skuas but I'm not sure about Shearwaters. Only TH and AG did seawatching yesterday.
Tim: Wot? No Shears? Nice Icky especially when it's next door!
Sean: Will do Terry. When are you getting over here in Sept?
Terry: There is a movement of Nutcrackers in Scandinavia with several being seen at Falsterbo in Sweden and many sighted in Denmark.. so keep an eye out!
Tim: Hi Sean, send me an email or post on my shoutbox when you need help with the survey.
Sean: What a load of cocksfoot
Mr Nextdoor: Grasses are the new larks
Ilya: Thanks. Still Reckon it's a 2cy Red Kite, butwill wait and see what Andrew Grieves has to say
Sean: That's what I thought Ilya (see comments from 4 May entry, below). Andrew Grieve says otherwise and promises more detail on why when he gets back from Kazakhstan.
Ilya: Hi Guys. Good Kite photos. Probably going to make an idiot of myself here, but why aren't the 1st lot of the bird with a mangled tail, just of a Red Kite? Surely Black-eared (and Black), should have a dark mask around the eye??
Sean: You are welcome John!
John Furse: Thank you, Sean, for finding, identifying and advertising the bird so quickly. To be able to get it to fly towards us- singing ! – and land quite close in front, is awesome site management. An even better experience than the Anglesey bird.
John Furse: Sheringham
