RPK: Guest831: try my links
Guest831: do u know any website that shows competitionn that is going on OR finding team in selangor? thanks
timbernett: what ever MABA do... janji dun be like FAM cukup... 1970s asia powerhouse.. .now... cekodok...
afiqPG: @yaz - hopefully it won't take as long as 10+ yrs. if the local players keep on having scrimmages and train with the 5 imports almost everyday (as per their schedule) then i'm sure the development will be very rapid.
Yaz: Plus with the development from early age, we might see some great talents in 10+ yrs time?
Yaz: Now people (players) hv seen tat they can hv a FUTURE playing basketball with KL Dragons, then some might play & improve to be better than ever. Maybe as good as the other ASEAN imports.
Yaz: Yup of course. Thsi is the first ABL season without any development & real scouting yet. I know there are a few better talents in Malaysia that are not playing in KL Dragons because of some reasons & 1of it is $ & career.
Name Basketeer: Slingers had started a good program and they are now rotating mostly local players. We cannot achieved the skills overnight. Be patient and we will get there
RPK: trust? the players had their chances to prove themselve but they failed. so its their decision to make the calls, the coach and the admins. beside they are getting paid (even to be as the cheerleaders on the bench)
Yaz: KL Dragons need to do both. 1- To win. 2- To develop our local players. So its up to the coach & management to balance that properly.
10: + 2/3 permanent players and make others cheeeeerleaders. X_X wait! Is winning really EVERYTHING? How r we to improve in basketball when even our coaches n admins wont even place enough trusts in our players.
10: Imports? I honestly dont think its KLD anymore. Imports are getting more play time compared to our LOCAL players. Wasnt the main reason for KLD formation to let our local msian players to play and improve? If like this, better just make 2/3 permanent play
JC.Jase: who will be replace by the new import?@@
afiqPG: @basketeer - agreed, bro! @thebigticket - thanks. keep on following the blog, and share with others as well. Majulah Basket Untuk Negara. lol
thebigticket: Keep up the good work, guys!
thebigticket: Keep up the good work, guys!
thebigticket: Just came across your site from a link on google. Glad to see that there are people like you guys who cover the local b-ball scene... used to depend on malaysia-basketball.com (hopeless) and The Star newspaper (lagi hopeless) for local b-ball news. Keep u
Name Basketeer: Message KL Dragons management very smart. Take future stars of Philippine basketball who are young and energetic
afiqPG: @timbernett - hopefully ur right bro cuz he did look like he wasnt 100%. mungkinkah dia tak sihat? everyday panas terik then hujan, mungkin dia demam kot. huhu..
timbernett: oh ya... if not mistaken CK played first in msia in 2007 in the NBL with WCT Klang at the time and they won champs. the first year the NBL allowed 2 imports for each team.
